Sightseeing of Rhodes (45-60 min)

We begin our cultural tour by driving next to the walls of the old city of Rhodes and end up at the acropolis of Rhodes. After taking photos from the panoramic point of the acropolis, we continue with our next activity.

Olive Oil Tasting Experience (90- 120min)

We have evidence that the olive tree existed 50,000 years ago. It is unclear when man decided to cultivate the olive tree and produce olive oil, but it probably began in the 4th millennium BC in ancient Greece. Keeping this in mind reminds us of how important the olive tree was and is for the Greeks. So we will visit an olive grove where you will be trained on how to distinguish good olive oil that will definitely whet your appetite!

Wine Tasting Experience (90-120min)

The first indications of wine making in Greece are from Crete in the 2nd millennium BC. But for many, history begins even earlier, since Greek wine may be among the oldest in the world, which means before the 6th millennium BC. So if you are a wine lover, then this is your time! Rhodes held a special place in wine production during antiquity, which is why we chose to visit a winery where you will get to know the local grape varieties, learn how to taste wine, and many other secrets about wine.

Ceramics Lessons (120min)

The first findings of pottery in Greece date back to the 7th millennium BC and were found in Crete. Many regions in Greece had particularly developed pottery, and one of them was the island of Rhodes. The ceramics needed for the construction of the church of HAGIA SOFIA in Constantinople were made here on the island. Today, the art of ceramics is also being revived as an anti-stress activity and is still alive on the island of Rhodes. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to see up close a ceramics workshop and learn how some of the most common and everyday objects of the past are made in practice!

This cultural tour lasts 5 hours, with the option to choose some activities, but can be extended to 8 hours with a choice of all, upon request and subject to availability.
